Watershed Wide 2026 is here!
It’s that time of the year where we’re getting ready to get out in the watershed for our biggest volunteer day of the year, Watershed Wide Event! This partnership-rich, multi-site day is a chance for folks to get hands on across the Tryon Creek watershed to remove invasively growing plants, plant native trees and shrubs, and do good work to support this special watershed!
Saturday, March 14th, 2026:
Watershed Wide Event – 9am-12pm, multiple locations
Community Pi(e) Day celebration – 12pm, Riverdale High School

Please RSVP to volunteer here: https://forms.gle/rEQ6sroUMV3Lrsxb8
All members of the community are welcome to join us for our Community Pi(e) Day celebration after our morning of volunteering throughout the watershed!
When: Saturday 3/14 at 12pm
Location: Riverdale High School
We’ll be eating and sharing pie together (inspired by the day landing on Pi Day, or 3/14) and our Watershed Wide volunteers from the morning will also be provided with lunches. All community home bakers are invited to bring a pie to share. Come connect with your neighbors and learn how you can participate in some exciting new developments with your local urban watershed council!
Please sign up to bring pie using this link: https://forms.gle/jYKyvniATeEdPbt66
This will be our seventeenth annual Watershed Wide Event: wow! Thank you for joining us and our partners in making this great day happen. May the day dawn with sunshine as mother nature’s thanks and encouragement for volunteers.
