Watershed Wide 2026 & Tryon Creek Community Celebration!
Skies should be clear! RSVPs won’t be monitored as of 6pm Friday. Please scroll through the below PDF to pick your site. All are welcome at our Tryon Creek Community Celebraiton from 12-2 at Riverdale HS.
It’s that time of the year where we’re getting ready to get out in the watershed for our biggest volunteer day of the year, Watershed Wide Event! This partnership-rich, multi-site day is a chance for folks to get hands on across the Tryon Creek watershed to remove invasively growing plants, plant native trees and shrubs, and do good work to support this special watershed!
This year it’ll flow into something a little special afterwards, with a Tryon Creek Community Celebration (for Pi Day!) and chance to learn and weigh in about the West Willamette Watersheds (W3) Collaboration.
Saturday, March 14th, 2026:
Watershed Wide Event – 9am-12pm, multiple locations
Community Pi(e) Day celebration – 12pm, Riverdale High School
Please RSVP to volunteer here: https://forms.gle/rEQ6sroUMV3Lrsxb8
Tryon Creek Community Celebration, an afternoon gathering from 12-2pm at Riverdale High School, will be open to all members of the community: meaning, if you are unable to join us in the morning, there’s still an afternoon chance to connect in camaraderie around Tryon Creek.
A few things will be going on at the Tryon Creek Community Celebration:
Community Pie Table: In honor of our event being on 3/14 (Pi Day), we’re inviting all motivated home bakers to consider bringing a pie to share!
Partner Fest: Watershed Wide Event couldn’t happen without our interconnected network of partners so we’ll spend a few minutes with these special folks sharing about the good work they do in and beyond the watershed.
West Willamette Watersheds (W3) Collaboration info session: Learn from us and share your thoughts about this process we’re engaging in with Oswego Lake Watershed Council, to establish watershed council coverage in areas without an established WC presence (tributaries draining directly into the Willamette River, looking north through Forest Park, and south through West Linn & Wilsonville).
All community home bakers are invited to bring a pie to share. Come connect with your neighbors and learn how you can participate in some exciting new developments with your local watershed council!
Please RSVP to the Tryon Creek Community Celebration (and to bring pie, optional!) using this link: https://forms.gle/jYKyvniATeEdPbt66
